Pyotr Lukyanenko
Belarusian artist

Born in 1950.

Graduated from the Belarus State Theater and Art Institute (now the Belarus Academy of Arts), Fine art theory and history department.

Works in various genres of easel painting. His art is notable for counterpoint of themes and genres as well as for variety of techniques and manners of performance.

Since mid 70-s till the end of 80-s the artist gave classes at an art studio.

From mid 80-s till mid 90-s was an author of the TV programme "Artist and Time".

Published articles about contemporary art in magazines and newspapers.

Since 1976 paintings have been shown at joint and solo exhibitions in Belarus and foreign countries.
